If you're shipping to or from the UK, the rules have changed. With the UK having left the European Union (EU) in January 2021, imports and exports to and from the EU are now subject to customs controls, in the same way that non-EU imports and exports have always been.
Rules for shipping internationally have also changed. Carriers now require you to send commercial invoice information directly to them, cutting down on paperwork, but requiring you to have all the information online and ready to clear customs.
