We’re well known for our flexibility here at CCL, often bending over backwards for our customers. This time though, it was more of a show of strength that was required when tasked with transporting a heavyweight shipment for the Clydesdale Bank.

We had to collect three safes from Exeter and deposit them in a branch in Edinburgh. With each safe weighing in at 3 tonnes, we could surely be forgiven for thinking this one ‘ain’t no piggy bank’. But with a range of specialist contractors at our fingertips, we soon found the vehicles we needed.

It took a solid amount of heavy strapping to make sure the items were fully secured before setting off on their 450 mile trip. However our Service Delivery Team were on the ball as ever, carefully monitoring the whole process to make sure everything arrived in the Scottish capital intact.
