National Account Manager – 2 Vacancies, M6 NW Corridor and East Midlands

Location - Midlands

Type - Permanent

We are looking for two Business Development Managers to work around the M6 North West Corridor and East Midlands.

Two Roles

  • M6 Corridor &
  • East Midlands

To best serve our clients one role will be based in the M6 NW Corridor, the other in the East Midlands.

Nationals Account Managers at CCL match our value proposition to our customers' needs. We are rarely the cheapest solution in the marketplace, so finding new value-led needs and building solutions must be instinctive to you. You will help our customers to grow their business sustainably. If that’s a good fit, we want to hear from you!

Your primary role will be to manage a discreet portfolio of existing customers, to retain and grow the relationship through delivering a great customer experience.

We provide a full range of logistics services from mail to packets and parcels to pallets, along with part and full loads for delivery throughout the UK, Europe & Worldwide by Road, Air or Sea. 

To help you sell our value, we have built a suite of technology solutions that help customers reduce costs and grow, sustainably.

What You’ll Do

  • Consistently deliver results for a fast-growing business focused on customer success
  • Identify opportunities by capturing customer needs and presenting our win-win value proposition
  • Maximise each of our account customer’s share of wallet to grow revenues and margin
  • Work with our Customers, Procurement and Operations Teams to ‘Deliver Happiness’

What You’ll Bring

  • A proven track record in Account Management across a range of logistics modes, solution profiles and industries
  • Strong logistics experience background within 3PL/4PL enterprises
  • Ability to work on your own initiative while following the best practice account planning
  • Ability to communicate and present at all levels within both internal and external organizations
  • Great questioning and listening skills
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and trust
  • Ability to sell value over price
