Your primary role will be to contribute to the depth of technical support that CCL provides its internal and external customers.  Applying your software developer level capability to respond to issues and requests related to CCL’s Transport Management System, myCCL and our wider logistics platform will ensure we deliver happiness, every time!

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Perform investigation and triage of technical issues escalated by CCL’s 1^st line support desk
• Carry out break/fix software changes to resolve issues
• Carry out Root Cause Analysis in relation to system issues and incidents to support post resolution follow up
• Assist with customer integration activity – through coding, configuration and data setup
• Work with CCL’s wider Engineering team to escalate issues requiring further specialist engineering/developer input
• Participate in full lifecycle of design, implementation and test of required code changes
• Continual improvement and development of the testing processes and tools used by the team

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Minimum 3 years experience of a developer role that has involved some time in direct customer facing issue/request resolution
• Computer Science, Software Engineering or related subject qualification (degree preferred)
• Specific core ability in coding – preferably in .NET C#
• Natural ability to investigate and diagnose the root cause of software problems and evaluate options for resolution
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools e.g. xUnit, Postman and SOAPUI
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum/Kanban development team environment
• Knowledge of continuous integration/deployment, automated build, test and other SDLC tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Take ownership to pursue issues through to conclusion
• A real team player with a passion to learn and share ideas
• A flexible attitude
