Purpose of the Role

To win and book European and UK Road business.

Dealing with all aspects of the job including: -

• Customer quotes - winning the job
• Supplier negotiation - best supplier / price
• Tracking - Checking the progress of each job through to POD
• Customs Paperwork - where required

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Happiness for our customers.
• Communicate clearly with customers and suppliers, both verbally and in writing.
• Negotiate with customers and suppliers for win/win
• Deal with customs processes
• Ensure job files are accurate and up to date

Skills & Experience

• High level of administrative competence and organisation
• High level of European road markets for both imports and exports. Full loads, part loads, express dedicated and groupage
• Good knowledge of the domestic market and experience in different vehicle types and options
• Able to learn new IT systems quickly
• Good overall knowledge of MS Office
• Good level of maths and geography
• Customs clearance knowledge for both imports and exports an advantage
• Any additional languages welcome but not compulsory
