Key Responsibilities

As a Credit Controller, your key responsibilities will include:

• Carry out daily credit control calls with the ability to adapt tone of call to suit the situation
• Liaise with customers by phone\email\letter for payment of invoices
• Manage and maintain customer account opening procedures
• Maintain customer credit limits and check credit reports daily
• Post and reconcile payments received daily and monthly
• Ensure debt is recovered efficiently and minimise bad debt
• Assist colleagues and sales personnel as and when required.
• Produce manual invoices, when required. 

Skills and Experience:

• A minimum of three years’ experience in all areas of credit control
• Able to prioritise and organise your own workload, achieving deadlines
• Able to build and grow relationships using effective interpersonal skills

• An ability to work directly with CCL’s customers
• Your attitude must be that the customer is always right

• Analytical and confident when analysing and interpreting data
• Proficient in the use of spreadsheets (Excel) and IT, including Sagepay and Paypal
• Flexible, hands-on, enthusiastic

• Outstanding commitment as an individual and a team player
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A passion for service delivery and keen to learn and share ideas
